Change to starting Competitive Team Games

There is a change to how players take to the field for competitive games within Qld this year.
This is to commence this weekend 8th April 2016.
Please ensure all your players are aware and a captain organised for each game.

Hi to all Clubs,

As per a referee directive from Football Queensland, there are changes to the way in which matches are started. Please let your captains and players know of these changes as the Mackay comp referees will be implementing this change as of this weekend.

The players will no longer need to run onto the fields in lines. The centre referee will speak with the Captains of both teams as to what they will expect during the game etc. and do the coin toss 10 – 15 mins before the game. The players will then take the field for the commencement of play when the whistle is blown.

Please ensure team books are at the referees room before this takes place.

Thanking you in advance.
Yours in football,
Melinda Griffin
