About Us

Country United Football Club is a regional (Country) club which primarily has its members coming from the townships to the West of Mackay and also the Pioneer Valley. These include Walkerston, Marian, Mirani, Eton, Eungella, Nebo and Homebush, just to name a few.

Our Club prides itself on being able to promote and provide a healthy, fun and competitive environment for players, parents and our supporters which is created by parent and player participation.

Wests League Club, Branscombe Road, Walkerston, is the permanent home ground for Country United Football. Our Junior Teams start at Under 5, we then house Junior Competitive Teams (Under 12 – Under 16) and highly competitive Senior Teams (Premiere, Reserves, Division 1 & Division 2) in both Men’s and Women’s.

Club Meetings

Meetings are held monthly at Western Suburbs Football Club. Club Meeting: First Tuesday of every month at 6:00PM. Please send agenda items to secretary@countryunited.org.au All members are invited to attend and participate.

Junior Fixtures

All junior fixture games are played at Mackay Football Park, Glenella, each Saturday except where some Sunday games are required. Field layout see forms section for MRFZ fields.

Senior Fixtures

All senior fixture games are played at various club fields. Game days vary from Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Competitive game results to be inputted into Sporting Pulse each week. See Mackay Regional Football Zone website: www.mrfzone.com.au for draw.

Registration for 2022

Online registration at www.playfootball.com.au is open now.

Please register as soon as possible, credit card payment is available online when you register or you can pay by direct deposit anytime (put invoice number as reference – this stops us having you as non-financial) or by cash at training days at Wests League Football Club fields. If you wish to go on a payment plan please contact treasurer@countryunited.org.au concerning the plan.

Coaching in 2022

Country United are seeking coaches for our teams for the 2020 season.

Country United is a growing, family friendly club and we seek the services of suitably qualified, experienced coaches to help continue that growth.

We also assist in training parents and players to improve their skill and attain their coaching accreditation.
